This past September we celebrated our oldest son’s third birthday at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Georgia. The festivities began with a tour of the museum, then a group train ride and ended with lunch in a very cool railway car. We would recommend this venue over and over again for parties. It is a great place to for children of all ages and of course the adults too. The staff is wonderful and was so helpful allowing us to move our party inside at the last-minute due to the rain. Train tickets and the vintage feel of the museum inspired the invitation. My husband even made the super cute birthday crossing signs and train cars for the cupcakes, cookies and party supplies. We are so lucky to have such a handy and creative man of the house.
Thank you to all our friends and family who came out to celebrate on such a rainy day and a huge thank you to our wonderful friends, Patti and Dave, who made the trip and captured this special day. Photo credit: Photography by Patti Hartman
